Florida Fun Festival is a gathering of Paramotor and Onewheel Enthusiasts. A family-friendly weekend full of Music, Camping, Onewheeling, Flying and friendly competition.
Bring your Tents, RV's, Van's and Trailers. Paramotors, RC Planes, quad copters or anything else that flies. Onewheels, eBoards, Bicycles, Motorcycles, ATV's, Side by sides and golf carts. Bring the kids, bring the dogs and anything else you want to bring for a weekend you won't soon forget!
We will have both Onewheel and Paramotor Competitions starting Friday and ending Saturday evening. Open flying is available at all times outside of restricted areas. Onewheel courses will be set up around the compound and will vary in difficulty, length, and terrain.
Camping will be in designated areas within the festival boundaries or anywhere you would like outside the festival boundaries. Hand washing stations and toilets will be provided for campers and guest pass holders. Food trucks will be available Friday and Saturday all day.
We will have live music in the evenings and Yoga and flying in the mornings. Check out the full agenda to see everything we have planned.
The goal of this event is to bring two amazing groups of people together to share in the joys of each others sport.
Eric Dufour started in aviation sports as a sky diving instructor and private pilot. Today at 63 years old, he is a Sport Pilot, Transport Canada Ultralight instructor and USPPA (USA) training committee member and instructor examiner. Pioneering in the sport in North America, he is a leader in paramotor teaching and is a true innovator.
Don Jordan is the owner and certified USPPA Flight Instructor at the Palm Bay PPG Flight School. His flying background began in the US Navy where he flew jet fighters from aircraft carriers for 7 years. He was a pilot and Captain for American Airlines for another 22 years. Don had his 1st PPG flight on June 10, 1999. Since then he has logged over 1,250 hours in the air and 2,800+ flights. He became a PPG flight instructor in 2002 and was for 12 years the Treasurer and Board Member of the USPPA.
Nathan Warner is an avid Onewheeler and Aviator. He has participated and competed in almost every extreme sport and has found his home with Onewheels and Paramotors. He has been involved in the Onewheel community since it's inception and has been a huge proponent of the sport over the last 5 years. His passion for the two sports is the driving force behind this festival.
